This striking vintage ring holds a really pretty cabochon cut natural sapphire with great clarity and a beautiful glow.  Made in 18k yellow gold (it looks more like 22k as the gold has some nice oxidization) with smooth and textured surfaces.  Circa 1970, this ring works on both men and women.  My favorite thing about this ring, besides the stone, is the sort of Renaissance-y design--it looks like something that could have been pulled up in an archaeological dig in London or on display in the V&A!
