Description

This is a GREAT vintage ring from the late 80's, made in Birmingham England in 18k white and yellow gold with a beautifully colored central oval cut ruby surrounded by round and baguette diamonds.  The more I see this ring the more I'm loving it--it's really well-made with high quality stones and a millegrain detail around the bezel.  The geometry of the ring is especially pleasing, particularly when its in motion as you get a overall sparkle from the round cut diamonds and then big flashes from the corner baguettes!  It's just COOL.  This ring has all the stylish trappings and design of the late 80's to early 90's fashion and is substantial enough to be glamorous but not so huge you can't wear it every day.  In fact, it would make an excellent alternative engagement ring for a ruby lover!
