Vintage Heavy 5mm Italian Box Chain 18” c. 1990

This super chic Italian box chain is heavy, weighing in at 55 grams and measuring 5mm.  The link here is different than your typical wider box chain, which usually have rounded box links.  With this piece each link is very flat and squared out and it makes for an overall striking look when worn, with each link giving off a mirror-like flash.  Made by Paolo Romeo, Italy circa 1990.

Measures 18" length.  5mm width.

Stamped "925 Italy" and tested.  Maker's mark for Paolo Romeo.

Weighs 55 grams.
