SOLD--Vintage Diana the Huntress Shell Cameo Brooch/Pendant 14k, c. 1960

This is an exquisitely carved, very large (2.25" diameter) Diana the Huntress shell cameo set in 14k yellow gold. It has both a pin back to wear as a brooch and flip-up swivel bail to put on a chain. This piece was purchased in Italy in the 1960's, but it may have been vintage then as the setting appears older. A striking conversation piece when worn and a must-have for any serious cameo collector!

This piece is in excellent condition and there are no chips or cracks to the cameo. The setting is secure and the pin back and bail are in good working condition. The bail is stamped "14k" and the piece has been acid-tested.
