Description

This beautiful engagement ring was so easy to photograph!  That's how it is when a piece is all clean lines and great stones!  This is a vintage engagement ring set with a sparkling Old Mine diamond (cut pre-1900) weighing approximately .52ct with K-L Color and SI1 Clarity.  This very lively stone is set in a 14k white gold bezel with a 14k yellow gold double row band.  It is hard to date this setting as it is classic in design, it could be anywhere from the 1940's to 1980's, but it has a nice patina to the gold which does take a while to develop.  The best thing about this great ring, besides of course that gorgeous antique diamond, is that it is so wearable!  Bezel settings are perfect for an active engagement ring wearer, as it is very difficult to lose a stone out of a bezel.  The band is thick and overall the ring feels substantial.  This ring sits low, stacks wonderfully with a band and sparkles like crazy--if you like this ring don't hesitate, this style is very sought-after and when we've had similar rings in the past they have sold very quickly!

Currently a size 7 and can be resized as needed.  Not stamped or signed but acid-tested for yellow gold.  Weighs 3.4 grams.  Bezel is 6.3mm diameter and band tapers from 3.5mm at the shoulders to 2mm at the base of the shank.
