SOLD--Vintage Amethyst and Diamond Cluster Ring Platinum c. 1940

A very nice-sized cluster ring from the late Art Deco/early Retro period circa 1940's, set with a step cut bright amethyst surrounded by a frame of diamonds.  Set in a platinum mounting with hand worked millegraine.  Gorgeous!

Currently size 8.5 and can be resized as needed.  One resizing provided, please allow one week.

Not stamped or signed, but tested for metal content.

Face of ring measures just a tad over 3/4" north to south.  Sits very flat on the finger!

Contains one natural step cut amethyst weighing approximately 4.00ct, eight Round Brilliant Cut diamonds and seven old single cut diamonds weighing approximately ,91ctw with I-M Color and SI1-SI2 Clarity.  These diamonds grade warmer but look very white in the setting!
