Victorian Banded Agate Swivel Locket Gold-Filled c. 1880

This is a really nice piece, a true antique made with quality and well-kept for about 140 years.  Made in the Victorian period circa 1880, the pendant holds a banded agate set in a gold-filled swivel.  On the reverse is a locket compartment where a photograph or portrait could be stored.  Right now the locket is soldered shut but we can have it opened for the new owner.  The locket is suspended from a fabulous heavy gold-filled watch chain.  A really beautiful statement piece from a bygone time!

Measures 16" length.  Pendant measures an additional 2 1/8" length.  Pendant is nearly 1 1/4" wide.

Not stamped or signed but tested for metal content.

In very good antique condition.  Wear to gold fill on the locket.  As stated above, locket is soldered shut but we can have it opened.
