Yes this is a ring!  It definitely does look like some kind of alien creation, and I mean that in the very best way.  This incredible studio piece from the late 1960's to 1970's is very sadly unsigned, but I'm sending the vibes out to the universe that the artist will feel my appreciation because I just love it.  This is a knuckle-spanner and as you can see goes a full three quarters up the length of my finger.  This ring can't be resized and the max ring size this piece will fit is a 6.5 and the smallest a 5.5--any larger and it won't feel comfortable, any smaller and it will fall off.  If you fall in this range and this is your style, get this ring!  You will not be disappointed!
