THIS PIECE HAS BEEN SOLD.

Another fabulous Mid-Century piece by the renowned Jacopo Brothers c. 1950!  This heavy horseshoe motif piece is constructed with inlaid lapis lazuli set in green enamel and sterling silver.  As you can see in the photo, it is so very chic when worn!  The Jacopo brothers had a store in Mexico City where they featured the best work of many Taxco silversmiths and this piece is a great example of their taste as well as mid-century Taxco artistry!

Stamped "Arte En Plata", with maker's marks for Jacopo, "ESS" as the silversmith and assay marks for Taxco sterling silver.  Measures 15" length and weighs 93 grams.
