Modernist Amethyst Cabochon Necklace Sterling c. 1970

A great vintage necklace with real presence, this late Modernist piece is made in sterling silver and features a cluster of large amethyst cabochons bezel set in an open frame.  These beautiful stones glow and change as light moves over them and overall this is a very striking piece!

Measures 20" length with an additional 2.75" length for the pendant drop.  Pendant measures 2.75 x 1.75".  

Chain stamped "925" and tested, pendant not stamped or signed but tested.  

Weighs 47 grams.

In very good vintage condition.
