Mid-Century Smoky Quartz Ring 18k c. 1960

A glamorous Mid-Century cocktail ring with a beautiful smoky quartz in an ornate 18k yellow gold mounting.  This stone is a beautiful silky sable color and faces up very light (see the photos on the hand) but has a much richer tone at an angle, it's very hypnotic!  I love this mounting too, with its regal filigree basket and split corner prongs - overall this is a beautifully made ring in amazing condition and it is much better in person than in the pics!  Circa 1960's.

Currently a size 8 and can be resized as needed.  Resizing available for an additional $75.

Stamped "18k" and tested for metal content.

Face of ring measures 19mm x 19mm.  Ring stands 12mm from the hand when worn.

Weighs 9 grams.
