Photos did not capture the beauty of the color of the ruby in this fabulous Mid-Century ring! Made cIrca 1950, this ring features a 2.13ct red ruby set with baguette cut diamonds in the shoulders. The entire mounting is heavy platinum and the basket holding the ruby is 18k. Though it was made later, this design of this ring has total Chrysler Building vibes! Would make a fantastic and memorable engagement ring!
Currently size 5.75 and can be resized as needed. One resizing provided, please allow one week.
Contains one natural ruby weighing approximately 2.13ct with evidence of heat treatment, which is typical for the industry. Also contains six baguette cut natural diamonds weighing approximately .36ctw with F-G Color and VS Clarity.
In very good condition. Ruby has minor chip to girdle. Basket was originally yellow gold and has been rhodium plated.
