SOLD--Mid-Century Pearl and Amethyst Star Earrings 14k c. 1960

Featured is a pair of FAB-U-LOUS Mid-Century cultured pearl and cabochon amethyst star earrings in 14k circa 1960!  These have a very Elizabethan look to them and they would fit right in on The Tudors.  In the center is a 7mm cultured pearl with slight ivory color and great lustre and surface.  Surrounding this lovely pearl are eight marquise shape natural amethyst cabochons, all in great condition.  These stones glow and pick up the light as you move.  Very, very elegant and finely made with great design. 

These earrings measure 7/8" in diameter and stand 5/8" up from the ear when worn.  Set in 14k (tested) and stamped "IPS 14k" for Imperial Pearl.  Each earring weighs 6.9 grams.
