SOLD--Mid-Century Modernist Amethyst Spray Ring 14k, c. 1960

I love this fun ring! This is an atomic-age Modernist Amethyst Spray Ring in 14k yellow gold circa 1960s. There is a lovely diamond-shaped detail on the side of the band and the height of the setting makes the ring look great from every angle. The amethyst is round faceted, very nicely cut and super sparkly. This would make a whimsical and unusual engagement ring!

Currently this ring is a size 7 and can be resized as needed. The band measures 4.5mm at the widest. The spray detail is 13mm in diameter and stands 8.5mm tall from the finger when worn. The ring is stamped "14k" inside the shank and has been acid tested as such. The amethyst is 6.5mm.
