SOLD--Mid-Century Hand Holding a Pearl Egg Cufflinks 18k and Sterling c. 1960
THIS PIECE HAS BEEN SOLD.
This is a very unusual (in a good way!), very finely made pair of cufflinks featuring a rich 18k yellow gold hand holding a cultured pearl egg, with sterling silver cuffs on the hand and sterling bar closure. They look incredible worn as a cufflink, but they also would make a killer pair of earrings if you're so inclined. The pearl is much less golden in person than the photos show, it is more of a deep ivory color. The hand and egg measures 16mm x 14m and the bar measures 20mm length. Stamped "18k" but sadly not signed! If you're a cufflink collector, I'll bet you don't have these!
