I'm always attracted to these beautiful rings with colored stone centers and diamond frames, sometimes called a flowerhead ring, as that is what I have for my engagement ring and it is just such an elegant and old world look for an engagement ring. This is a Mid-Century natural amethyst and round brilliant cut diamond ring set in 14k white gold, circa 1950's. This piece came from a local Hudson estate and was cherished and loved during it's time with it's previous owner. If you're looking for a classically beautiful style with both color and sparkle, this ring will not disappoint!
This ring is currently a size 5.5 and can be resized as needed. Measures 5/8" at the widest and stands 1/4" up from the finger when worn.
The amethyst weighs approximately 1.75ct and there are eighteen round brilliant cut diamonds weighing approximately .40ctw.
Stamped "14k" and acid-tested for metal content.
All purchases from Bavier Brook arrive in an elegant box, fully wrapped in fine paper with a gift card stating description and time period. Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions, we are happy to answer them! X
