SOLD-Long Modernist Cube Chain Sterling, Arne Johansen Denmark c. 1960

This hard to find Modernist piece by Danish designer Arne Johansen features heavy sterling silver cubes connected with chunky paper clip links.  Arne Johansen worked from 1954-1976 and his pieces are always incredibly clean, with the focus on the simple geometry of the form.  I've not seen this piece from him before and it is very finely made and weighty.  Looks great on its own or layered framing your favorite pendant!

Measures 28" length.

Stamped "AJ 925S DENMARK" and teste for metal content.  

Weighs 74 grams.
