I love, love, love, looooove this ring! It looks SO good on and the openwork is so clean and sharp that you can see that star from across the room. Or maybe it is a flower--totally open to interpretation! This simply gorgeous ring was made in the 1940's and has elements of the Deco period while edging into the design of that great Retro/Old Hollywood period. It features a center Round Brilliant Cut diamond that weighs approximately .63ct with I-J Color and VS2 Clarity. It is surrounded by eight Round Brilliant Cut diamonds weighing approximately .40ctw with H-J Color and VS2-SI2 Clarity, with one side diamond being I1 due to a chip. It sits fairly flat on the hand while still having lots of presence and would make an glorious engagement ring!
