This elegantly designed hinged bangle was made by the famed Cony workshop of Taxco Mexico circa 1950. It has a pleasing, hefty weight and and is well-made, so you can definitely stack it with other bangles and bracelets. Its solid craftsmanship, which this workshop was known for, makes for a great everyday piece!
Interior measures 2 9/16 x 2 1/4" and measures 7 1/4" around the interior, so this bracelet will fit a medium to large woman's wrist and a small to possibly medium men's. It is too big for a small wristed person unless you wear it well up your forearm.
Measures 5/8' width.
Weighs 70.7 grams.
Stamped "VICTORIA MEXICO TAXCO" and "STERLING" and "Cony" with Mexican eagle mark for sterling and model number 545.
