A very special ring that is quite old, this early Victorian ring holds an Old Mine cut diamond in a detailed scrolled mounting of 18k. Sits low and is beautifully golden on the hand. Engraved "19 September 1843".
Currently size 7. Technically this ring can be resized but is patterned throughout the entire band, so resizing up will result blank area.
Not stamped for metal content but tested. Stamped with maker's mark "JL".
Measures 6.4mm wide at the widest part of the face.
Contains one natural Old Mine Cut diamond weighing approximately .64ct with G-H Color and VS2 Clarity.
In very good antique condition. Prongs may have been retipped at some point, stone is secure.
