Big Modernist Studio Earrings Sterling/Gold-Fill c. 1970

Bold and graphic, these large Modernist era earrings curl around your jaw to frame your face--or wear them the other way for an extra geometric look!  Made in sterling silver and gold-fill circa 1970, not too heavy and with extra large backings.  Hand-signed by an unknown artist.

Measure 2 5/8" length x 1 1/8" at the widest.

Hand-etched "925" and tested for metal content.  Etched "IL" maker's mark (unknown).

Each earrings weighs 8.8 grams including backing.

In good condition with wear moderate to the gold-fill visible under magnification.
