THIS PIECE HAS BEEN SOLD.

This beautiful little ring dates from the Art Deco era but quite possibly earlier, and holds a bright pink sapphire bezel set in a 14k engraved mounting.  The shape of the ring and style of the engraving is very Deco, but the style of the bezel is usually seen in earlier Victorian pieces.  It's not a typical Deco setting.  But we're always conservative here in our time period estimates so let's say it's Deco at the latest!  It's absolutely lovely, wearable and would make a great engagement ring for someone who wants a pink stone!

Currently size 6.75 and can be resized as needed.  One resizing provided, please allow one week.

Not stamped for metal content but tested.  Engraved with either a maker's mark or a style number, that I believe was done later.

Measures 6.3mm wide.

Contains one pink sapphire that weighs approximately 1.70ct and that may or may not be synthetic.  As a gemologist, I haven't seen any evidence that's it's synthetic BUT it's an incredibly clean and bright stone, and often these stones can be synthetic.  This is a case for the lab to truly determine, so in the meantime we've priced it as if it's synthetic.

In excellent antique condition, with wear to the engraved design and slight abrasions to one corner of the sapphire.
