Art Deco Pair of Chinese Enamel and Turquoise Wedding Bracelets Silver c. 1920
Art Deco Pair of Chinese Enamel and Turquoise Wedding Bracelets Silver c. 1920
A lovely pair of antique Chinese silver bangles with bezel set turquoise and light blue enamel birds, possibly phoenixes, surrounded by cobalt and purple Enamel accents. While traditionally these bracelets would be given to a Chinese bride before the ceremony, this particular pair was most likely made for the export market circa 1920. Very beautiful in person and still in wonderful condition, ready to be worn once more!
Measure 3.25" diameter. Should fit most hand/wrist sizes and are meant to be loose and jangly.
Both bracelets stamped with very faint "SILVER" mark and tested.
Wear to enamel, mostly on the bird's tails. One very slight dent, pictured.
