Art Deco Moss Agate Necklace Sterling Silver c. 1920

Moss agate is such an interesting gem, it gets its name from the mossy inclusions grown from trace elements found within the crystal.  The look of this stone is earthy and grounded, yet it has its own special, mysterious glow - I've always found it a bit magical!  This lovely necklace features five graduated moss agate cabochons set in sterling silver.  Made circa 1920.

Not stamped or signed but tested for metal content.  

Measures 16" length.

Cabochons measure .5 to .75" length.

In excellent antique condition.
