SOLD--Art Deco Marcasite and Synthetic Blue Spinel Drop Earrings Sterling c. 1930

Here we have a pair of true Art Deco era earrings, designed with that inimitable Deco geometry and studded with sparkling marcasites surrounding a bright, light blue faceted synthetic spinel.  These earrings are screw backings but we can convert them!  Synthetic stones were very popular in later Deco jewelry, they are the exact same chemical composition as the real version but were man-made.  These would be perfect for a bride who wants a special vintage wedding day look without breaking the bank!

Measure 1 3/4" length x a little over 1/2" width at the widest.

Stamped "STERLING" and tested for metal content.

In excellent vintage condition with all stones present.
