SOLD--Art Deco Double Row Diamond Band 14k c. 1940
THIS PIECE HAS BEEN SOLD.
A dazzling diamond late Art Deco/early Retro period band that was hard to get a photo of because it is so sparkly! This band has four bead set Old European cut diamonds (one at the center of each row, one set the in the triangles on each side) and eight single cut diamonds weighing approximately .40ctw. The ring is two-tone 14k, with white gold for the diamonds and a rich yellow gold for the band. Lovely Deco details with hand-millegrained center and geometric textured sides. Really though, when you look at this band the first thing you see is its glittery sparkle! It is substantial enough to wear on its own or to stack with other bands.
Currently a size 6.5 and can be resized as needed. Stamped "14k" and acid-tested. Engraved "F.C. to R.C. 6-27-42". Measues 5.5mm at the widest (center) and band tapers to 2.1mm.
