SOLD--Edwardian Amethyst Drop Necklace 10k c. 1910

Full of color, stately and elegant, this Edwardian amethyst drop necklace is a dainty showstopper.  Prong-set in 10k gold that has that wonderful old gold patina is approximately 5.00ctw of beautifully faceted natural amethyst.  This necklace is very lively and sparkly when worn and would make a gorgeous, colorful piece of wedding jewelry, would look spectacular paired with an evening gown or cocktail dress or would be a very impressive gift!

This necklace is wearable at the current length of 14" for a petite neck, or can be extended to fit any size.  Stamped "10k" and "Germany".  Spring ring clasp is gold-filled and is a later addition.
