SOLD--Antonio Pineda Mid-Century Amethyst Cabochon Bracelet Sterling Silver c. 1960

This is a bold, heavy and quite rare bracelet by famed Taxco designer Antonio Pineda, set with six absolutely gorgeous amethyst cabochons in Modernist style bezel settings of 970 silver (higher silver content than sterling). The color of these stones is about as good as it gets for amethyst, they are so luminous it's like they have their own light source! A fabulous collectors piece that will be hard to find again!

Measures 8.25" length so this bracelet is unisex! Can be worn on a ladies medium to large wrist or a men's small to medium wrist. Measures 3/4" wide. Stands 5/8" from the wrist when worn.

Weighs 93 grams.

Stamped "STERLING MEXICO 970 SILVER" with maker's mark for Pineda and style number.
