A late Victorian brooch featuring a central oval cut natural amethyst set in a coiled snake frame of 14k bloomed gold with and Old Mine Cut diamond in the head.  Circa 1890

Measures 2 cm x 1 3/4 cm.

Not stamped or signed but tested for 14k gold.

Weighs 4.3 grams.

Contains one vibrant natural amethyst weighing measuring 13 x 10mm and one natural Old Mine Cut diamond weighing approximately .07ctw.

In excellent antique condition.
