THIS PIECE HAS BEEN SOLD.

This gorgeous, glittering antique ring features a central bezel set natural rose cut diamond weighing .67ct.  The cut of this stone is everything you want a rose cut to be--it was cut very precisely and throws sparkling triangles in any lighting.  The crown is also very deeply cut and towers up over the bezel, which gives it the look of those amazing Renaissance diamond rings from the side view.  The color of the stone is warm and I did my best to capture the actual color of the stone in the photos--the best way to describe it is a pinkish greyish brown.  The diamond is set in a silver bezel mounted to a 14k band.  I would place the ring right around the turn of the century circa 1900, though the stone and possibly the bezel is likely to be earlier.  This special ring would make the most wonderful and romantic engagement ring for the rose cut lover--wear it every day, that stone is safe in that bezel!

Currently a size 5.25 and can be resized as needed.  One resizing is provided with purchase, please allow one week.

Diamond weighs .67ct and is approximately M-N Color and SI1 Clarity.  The diamond is free from visible inclusions, the clarity grade is due to a small chip to the girdle and several abraded facet junctions.

Some slight deterioration to rose cut backing, visible only under magnification.

Stone tight in setting.  Porosity to areas of the setting.

Stamped with unknown maker's mark.  Not stamped for metal content but tested.
