Vintage Long Cobalt Glass Chain Sterling c. 1970

This glorious necklace measures 36", is HEAVY and is unlike anything I've seen before!  Made in sterling silver in the 1970's, this chain features bright cobalt blue oval glass stations carefully set in heavy bezels.  The design of the chain is to twist as it is worn and it is very, very cool.  This piece weighs a whopping 193 grams and can be doubled!

Not stamped or signed but tested for metal content.

Measures 36" length.  Glass stations measure 3/4 length.  Chain measures just a little under 1/2" wide.

In excellent vintage condition.  Heavy patina.  It's possible this piece dates earlier than the 1970's based on the workmanship.
