THE BEST Vintage Heavy Link Bracelet Sterling, Taxco c. 1980
Omg this bracelet is just GORGEOUS! To me it is just about as perfect a chunky link bracelet that you could ever find AND the best part is that it is not teeny teeny tiny like so many of our great bracelets have been. This bracelet measures 9.5" and will fit a man or a woman with a larger wrist. Can it be shortened? Technically yes, but SHOULD it be shortened? Hell no! This bracelet is perfect as is, so dinky wristed ladies like me need to accept that this amazing bracelet is not for us and move on with our lives. Please let me say it again, I am not taking this masterpiece to the jeweler to have it shortened for you (I'm talking to myself mostly).
Now if this bracelet DOES fit you, please read on--this badass piece of metal features a very precise oval flat link with slightly faceted corners. Made in the Taxco region of Mexico in solid sterling silver, circa 1980's. It is very dense and heavy at 67 grams. It is also so incredibly chic, modern, classic, elegant, tough, edgy--this bracelet has it all!
Links measure 16 x 10 x 2.5mm.
Stamped "925" and Taxco region assay.
Clasp tight and in good working condition.
Weighs 67 grams.
