SOLD--Vintage Round Brilliant .81ct Diamond Solitaire Engagement Ring 14k c. 1940

This gorgeous ring was so easy to photograph because it is so elegant and classic with a beautiful stone!  This is a Retro period engagement ring centering a Round Brilliant diamond weighing .81ct with I-J Color and VS1 Clarity--the highest clarity you can give a diamond when it is graded in the setting.  It is an excellent stone; crisp, clean and super sparkly.  The setting itself is just as wonderful, with regal corner split prongs in 14k white gold and a nicely oxidized tapered band in 14k yellow. 

This ring is currently a size 6 and can be resized as needed.  Stamped "14k" and acid-tested for metal content.  Hand-engraved initials inside shank.
