SOLD--Victorian Old Mine .42ct Diamond Solitaire Engagement Ring 14k c. 1869

This is such a sweet ring that many hands have kept in great condition over the last 154 years.  Made circa 1869, this diamond ring holds a central natural Old Mine diamond buttercup set in 14k yellow gold.  One of the most special things about this ring is the engraving "Frank to Belle Oct 13th 1869".  It doesn't get any more romantic than that folks!

Currently size 6 and can be resized, however please note sizing down you will lose some of the engraving.  Sizing up there will be a space in between the engraving.  One resizing provided, please allow one week.

Measures 6.6mm wide at the widest.

Not stamped or signed but tested for metal content.

Contains one natural Old Mine Cut diamond weighing approximately .42ct with H-I Color and SI1 Clarity.

In very good antique condition.  Prongs have been retipped and are stable, stone is tight.
