This Victorian bracelet is a stunning example of the Etruscan Revival style that was so popular in the 1860's-80's.  Featuring a beautifully sculpted ram's head with a rose cut diamond eye and exquisite wirework and granulation.  Made in 14k circa 1880.  This bangle is hinged at the bottom and opens wide enough to accommodate small to medium wrists.  Stamped with patent date for 1880.

Measures 1" wide at the ram's head, body of bracelet measures a bit over 1/4" width.  Interior measurements 2 1/4 x 2".

Not stamped for metal content but tested for 14k.  Stamped "PAT. OCT. 25 70" AND "PAT. JUNE 29. 80" for patents most likely on the spring hinge mechanism for 1870 and 1880.

Weighs 24 grams.   This bracelet has a big look but is hollow so while a nice weight, is not as heavy as it looks.
