Victorian Carnelian Intaglio Ring 14k c. 1880

This is one of the most EXQUISITE Victorian intaglio rings that I've seen in my career, it is crafted so beautifully in every way and is a true heirloom.  Made circa 1880, this gorgeous ring a central carnelian with a perfectly carved intaglio of Julius Caesar wearing a laurel wreath.  The mounting features a greek key motif around the bezel and leafy shoulders in heavy 14k.  This ring feels substantial when you hold it and wear it and I say this often, but with this amazing intaglio you are literally wearing a work of art on your finger!  

Currently size 7.25 and can be resized as needed.  One resizing provided, please allow one week.

Stamped "14k" and tested.
