HOLD-Retro Diamond Tank Ring Platinum c. 1940

This glamorous ring hails from the late Art Deco/early Retro period circa 1940's and is made of platinum set with diamonds.  The geometric lines and bold angles, typical of this period, give this ring a distinctive presence on the finger.  This style of ring is often called a tank ring and they have a very machine-like feel to them, but this particular ring is more delicately made and smaller in scale than later versions which tend to be quite chunky.  This would make a beyond fabulous engagement ring!  

Currently size 6.5 and can be resized as needed.  One resizing provided, please allow one week.

Not stamped or signed but tested for metal content.

Face of ring measures 12mm north to south at the widest part.  Measures 8mm from the finger when worn.

Contains nine natural Single Cut diamonds weighing approximately .38ctw with H-J Color and SI1-I1 Clarity.  

In excellent vintage condition.
