SOLD-Georgian Revival Rose Cut Diamond Ring 14k c. 1930
THIS PIECE HAS BEEN SOLD.
This is a special ring that is going to make a Rose Cut diamond lover very happy! Made in the Georgian Revival style circa 1930, this large stone is set foil-backed and is exquisitely faceted for excellent sparkle and light return. The diamond is bezel set in silver and the rest is 14k white gold with four little rose cuts in petals on the shoulders. This gold is a warmer color than we typically see with white gold - it is in between yellow gold and white gold. Such a lovely, romantic ring with a big look!
Currently size 6.25 and can be resized as needed. One resizing provided, please allow one week.
Not stamped or signed but tested for metal content.
Face of ring measures 12mm north to south.
Central natural Rose Cut diamond measures 9.08 x 7.03mm. Please note that you cannot give a carat weight on a closed-back Rose Cut and really on any mounted Rose Cut in general as there is no formula to calculate it. Rose Cuts need to be unmounted and weighed for an accurate carat weight.
In good vintage condition. Previous resizing evident but this will be removed when resized for the new owner. Soft wear to all areas of the face.
