SOLD Retro Moonstone and Ruby Bracelet 14k c. 1940

Wow, this bracelet is soooo gorgeous! Made in the 1940s Retro period, this bracelet features luminous moonstones flanked by bezel set natural rubies in 14k yellow gold.  It is absolutely lovely in person; there is really nothing more beautiful than an old moonstone with a light blue adularescence.  The combination of ruby and moonstone is something that we see in both the Retro Old Hollywood period of the 1940’s as well as the late Victorian to early Edwardian era and it is such a stunning pairing!  A special piece that is very representative of its time and beautiful to boot - whoever gets this one is a lucky duck!

Measures 7.5” length.  Measures .5” wide at the widest.

Stamped “14k” and tested, maker’s mark for Wordley, Alsopp & Bliss of Newark, NJ.

Contains three natural moonstones measuring 10mm diameter and six natural rubies weighing approximately .36ctw.

Weighs 12.5 grams.
