Post-Modern Large Earrings Sterling, Brass and 14k c. 1990

A very cool pair of post-modern earrings made of sterling silver and brass with 14k posts and backs by silversmith Joseph Downs circa 1990's.  

Measure 1.5 x 1.25".  

Stamped 'STERLING' and tested.  Signed 'DOWNS'.

Patina to sterling and brass.  

Each earring weighs 9.4 grams, so while they're large they are excessively heavy!
