SOLD--Mid-Century Modernist Cabochon Sapphire and Diamond Ring 14k c. 1970

Super edgy and modern, this ring could be from no other time period that the 1970's!  It probably started life off as a man's pinky ring but it looks amazing on a woman's hand and stacks wonderfully.  The natural cabochon sapphire is a dark navy blue and very opaque and is flanked by a .10ct round brilliant cut diamond, with a textured band.  The gold has a slight rose color but would still be considered yellow gold.  Nice and weighty at 8.1 grams, stamped 14k.

Measures 9.5mm at the widest.  Ring is currently size 6 and can be resized as needed.
