This is a bright and cheerful ring, made in the early 1940's in the late Art Deco period. Central is a round cut synthetic orange sapphire surrounded by a frame of natural Round Brilliant Cut diamonds, each set in their own individual box that fans out from the center stone like rays from the sun! There are also beautiful millgrained edges to each box frame and overall the ring has really nice late Deco early Retro design!
Currently size 7 and can be resized as needed. One resizing provided, please allow one week.
Not stamped or signed but acid-tested for metal content.
Face of ring measures 5/8" diameter.
Weighs 5 grams.
Contains one 7mm synthetic orange sapphire with strong pleochroism so it looks yellow at certain angles, orange at others. Also contains ten natural Round Brilliant Cut diamonds weighing approximately .20ctw with H-I Color and VS2-SI1 Clarity.
