Have you been looking for something really special? I mean REALLY special? Like, so special that when you hold it or look at it or wear it you feel like you've been transported to another time, because it is so perfectly preserved like a tiny time capsule that you are literally looking at history?! Well then what I have right here may fit the bill for you because these earrings may as well have been teleported from the 18th century right onto your ears. Made with sparkling foil-backed pastes set in silver with a 9k gold earwire, these earrings would have been owned and worn by a very well-to-do woman circa 1780. These earrings were included in a large collection of Georgian paste jewelry that was curated over a number of decades by an expert collector - here is a chance to own a piece of true jewelry history!
Measure 50mm length including the earwire.
Not stamped or signed but tested for metal content.
In excellent antique condition. All pastes original. Some light discoloration to foil on some pastes.
All purchases from Bavier Brook arrive in an elegant box, fully wrapped in fine paper. Please inquire for international shipping. Don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions, we are happy to answer them!
