When they say Art Deco, this is what they’re talking about! Look at this beauty - this French ring circa 1920 holds a sugarloaf cabochon chrysoprase stone in a simple geometric sterling silver setting that really showcases this stone‘s beauty. Chrysoprase is known for its glowing green color but much of what you see in Deco jewelry that’s identified as chrysoprase is actually dyed green chalcedony - which is still beautiful - but this is the real thing and it shows. Somehow this ring made it all the way from the 1920s in excellent condition and it really is a special, historical piece that I know will go to someone who cherishes it!
Currently size 7 and can be resized up or down within a few sizes.
Stamped with French boar’s head hallmark for sterling silver and tested.
Measures 14mm wide and stands 12mm from the finger and when worn.
In excellent antique condition.
