THIS RING HAS BEEN SOLD.

This is one of my favorite pieces in the store right now!  I will admit to test driving it for a few hours, it is a perk of the job.  This BEAUTIFUL ring was made in the early Edwardian period and holds a central natural turquoise cabochon surrounded by natural Old European Cut diamonds in a 14k gold setting.  It is a simple, elegant and gorgeous ring!  The proportions of the turquoise to the diamonds is incredibly pleasing to look at as is the perfect roundness of the cluster.  As anyone who is a fan of turquoise in gold already knows, it is a stunning combination!  This would make a lovely, romantic engagement ring!

Currently a size 4.5 and can be resized as needed.  One resizing provided with purchase, please allow one week.

Stamped "14k" and tested, with maker's mark "A KENT & SONS" for Ambrose Kent and Sons, Toronto.

Face of ring measures 15mm diameter.  Turquoise measures 11mm diameter.  Band tapers from 2.8 to 2.1mm.  Ring stands up 8.5mm from finger when worn.

Diamonds weigh approximately 1.05ctw with H-J Color and SI1-SI2 Clarity.

Condition notes: Turquoise has wear with light pitting and wear to the matrix.  Patina to the gold in the gallery (pinkish color).  This could be removed, we like to leave patina but it will be up to you!  This ring is what we so elegantly call "prong-y".  There are a LOT of prongs and care needs to be taken when wearing this ring.  No high impact activities like working out, cooking, gardening, be careful digging in your handbag, etc.  I have a ring like this and trust me, it is worth the extra care to wear something SO special!

All purchases from Bavier Brook arrive in an elegant box, fully wrapped in fine paper. Please inquire for international shipping. Don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions, we are happy to answer them!
