SOLD--Edwardian Old Mine Diamond Locket 10k c.1900
THIS PIECE HAS BEEN SOLD.
Everyone who sees this locket remarks how it looks like a vinyl record--and it does! This early Edwardian 10k rose gold locket is engine turned, creating an engraved surface of concentric circles that gives it its record-like texture. Central is a sweet little Old Mine cut diamond and the locket is finished off with a coin edge. The interior of the locket is also engine turned and comes complete with its original frame and celluloid. This locket photographed much more yellow than it is--it is very rose gold! This would make a great sentimental gift and can be worn every day!
Measures 1" diameter.
Stamped "10k" and tested with unknown maker's mark.
Natural Old Mine diamond weighs approximately .10ct.
Locket closes tightly, hinge in good working condition.
Comes on an 18" contemporary gold-filled chain. This chain can be changed out for longer or shorter lengths!
