Early Art Deco Paste Monkey Brooch Silver c. 1920--SOLD

It's hard to believe this Deco brooch isn't diamonds with the way it sparkles!  This little green-eyed monkey holding a fan was made in the early 1920's and is just spectacular in person--it is much, much better than the photos could capture.  These very early, finely-made Deco paste brooches have a different look to them than later pieces as a great deal of care was taken in the design and the setting of the crystals.  A fun and glittering holiday piece for the Deco collector!

Measures 1 5/8 x 1 1/2".  Illegible hallmark or maker's mark on reverse.  All stone present and appear original.
