SOLD--Belle Epoque Enamel and Paste Can-Can Dancer Brooch Silver, French c. 1900
THIS PIECE HAS BEEN SOLD.
Looking at this sparkly little lady, you're transported back to the heyday of the Moulin Rouge! This is French enamel and paste Can-Can dancer brooch in silver with an unknown French maker's mark. I have never seen one like it before and doubt I will again, such a special little, perfect piece of antique jewelry and history. I believe this brooch was made during the era of the great French cabarets of the late 19th century. Enamel collectors, you don't want to miss out on this one--or anyone who loves that exciting time period! Hurry before I decide that I can't part with it!
Measures 3.5cm x 2cm. All paste stones intact with no replacements, but some turning to the foil backs. Pin back in good working condition, all original. Slight enamel loss to the toe and left arm. Wonderful!
