THIS PIECE HAS BEEN SOLD.

I've seen a lot of Deco snake necklaces in my day, but I've never seen one with this design or clasp mechanism before!  This beautifully made piece is from the 1930's and is constructed of gilt brass with little red glass eyes in the head.  This is a true choker folks!  You're going to need to have a pretty thin neck to wear this comfortably because when it is clasped the wearable length is just 13".  Measure your neck before ordering!  If you've got that Deco sized neck then you are in for a treat because look at how incredible this piece looks on--I LOVE the way it sits with that asymmetrical coil.  This piece looks very German to me in design though there are no marks, but it does have that high quality feel of German Deco snake jewelry.  The clasp is so fantastic--so you unscrew the head, put that piece through the smaller opening of the coil, and then screw the head back on.  Wow!  It is just so chic.  Put this snake necklace on and you are truly transported back in time to the Art Deco era, it is too fabulous!!

Measures 13" wearable neck--this will fit a very petite neck so be sure to measure around the base of your neck.

Not stamped or signed.

Clasp in great working condition.  Wear to gilding.  Otherwise great condition overall.
