SOLD--Art Deco Lapis Lion Armlet Bracelet Sterling Silver c. 1920

These antique armlets are getting harder and harder to find--some of you who visit the store may know that I often wear a Deco snake armlet and I love having one!  Made circa 1920, this piece is either a large bangle bracelet to be worn up at the top of the forearm or if you have a thinner arm, an armlet made to be worn above the elbow.  Four intricately designed lions heads hold a vibrant lapis lazuli cabochon in their mouths.  This piece is very much in the Italian style of the day but there are no markings.  A special, unusual piece--please see the measurements below to see if it will fit you!

Not stamped or signed but tested for metal content.

Interior measures 2 7/8" diameter, or about 9 1/4" circumference.  Measures 1/2" wide at the widest.  

Weighs 18.7 grams.

In excellent antique condition with nice patina.
